As
the population of the Santa Barbara County South Coast
grows, open space and natural habitat within our urban
boundaries become greater necessities for the health
and well being of the community. San Marcos Foothills
is one of the largest unprotected wild open spaces
in our county.
The
San Marcos Foothills Coalition is committed to preserve,
protect, and restore this biologically rich, scenic
treasure in its entirety for the public benefit, now
and for future generations.
