Updating
the Plan: Updating, revising, or expanding the Plan
should be coordinated by the Oversight Committee, and
conducted annually if necessary, and accompanied by
public announcements. New policies and proposed actions
would be posted on the web version of the Stewardship
Plan for San Marcos Foothills. In addition, a full Management
Plan including actions, implementation priorities and
schedules, and finances, should be prepared at an early
date.

Admin-8.5: Identify partnerships with other groups
to implement the plan, including volunteers, utility
companies, research oriented partners, user groups,
long-term funding sources, and government agencies to
implement the Stewardship Plan.

Admin-8.6: Discuss any and all improvements to the
land with relevant neighbors, partners, and effected
parties to urge participation and to avoid negative
effects of proposed actions.

to ensure the safety of people visiting or staffing
the site.

Admin-8.8: Coordinate with the County Fire Department,
U.S. Forest Service and other fire agencies in fuels
management, grassland management, and fire emergency
response.

plans for ecological disasters such as floods and fires.

databases for all spatially-referenced aspects of management
and administration.

relating to San Marcos Foothills.

visitors, purposes for visits, affiliations, and contacts.

to its prior condition following any activity should
be anticipated and borne by the user.
