Dipterostemon capitatus ssp. capitatum (Blue Dicks)

Fairly common (during rainy season) native, perennial herb found in grasslands. Dies back to underground bulb during dry season. Flower is light to dark purple. Blooms winter to spring. Previous scientific name: Brodiaea capitata.
