Isocoma menziesii var. vernonioides (Coastal Goldenbush)

Generally un-common native, perennial shrub found in coastal sage-scrub plant community and planted at restoration sites. Flowers are yellow. Blooms in spring to summer. Easily confused with saw-tooth golden bush (Hazardia squarrosa) which has sharply toothed leaves.
