Calystegia macrostegia ssp. cyclostegia (Coastal Morning-glory)

Somewhat common, native perennial vine found in multiple habitats. Flowers are generally white, but sometime contain light pink. Blooms winter to spring.

Calystegia macrostegia (Coast morning-glory) looks similar to the non-native Convolvulus arvensis (bindweed). The photo above shows a comparison between Convolvulus arvensis (left) and Calystegia macrostegia (right). Note the difference in size and leaf shape.
