Crocanthemum scoparium var. vulgare (peak rush-rose)

Uncommon, native perennial shrub known from only one location on the Preserve (on Vaqueros sandstone in vicinity of Preserve high point). Flowers are yellow. Booms in spring. Previous scientific name: Helianthemum scoparium.
