Lonicera subspicata var. subspicata (Santa Barbara Honeysuckle)

Somewhat common native perennial shrub found in generally shaded areas, on the banks of creeks and planted at restoration sites. Flowers are white. Blooms spring through summer. Although common at the San Marcos Foothills, this is considered a rare plant statewide by the California Native Plant Society.
