Lathyrus vestitus var. vestitus (Wild Sweetpea)
Uncommon native perennial vine found in and around creeks. Flowers are pale pink to lavender. Blooms in spring to early summer. This plant should not be confused with Vicia sativa (Spring Vetch) a non-native plant that grows in dryer locations, has darker violet to purple flowers and different shaped leaves (see comparison below).
